I've never done anything like this. Will I be out of my depth?+
No — that's the point of keeping classes small. The coach is with you on every round, you're partnered with someone at your level, and nobody assumes you know anything. Most people who walk in have never thrown a punch.
Will I get hit?+
No. Classes are pad work, bag work, partner drills and conditioning. There's no sparring in our group classes. You'll learn to defend yourself properly without being punched in the face to do it.
I'm unfit / carrying extra weight / over 40. Is that a problem?+
That's most of the people we want to train. You work at your pace — the coach sets the intensity for you, not for the fittest person in the room. Small classes are what make that possible.
Why do I have to book every class?+
Because classes are kept small and the coach plans each session around who's coming. Booking takes a few seconds online and means you never turn up to a full room. Members book too.
How does the $10 trial week work?+
Your first week is $10 and includes every class. If you love it and do nothing, it rolls into the Unlimited membership at $65/week. If it's not for you, let us know before your week is up and that's the end of it — no fees, no awkward conversation.
How much is membership after the trial?+
Unlimited classes are $65 a week. Private + Unlimited — one private lesson a week plus every class — is $150 a week. Both are weekly memberships with no lock-in contract; just give us two weeks' notice if you need to stop.
What do I bring to my first class?+
Comfortable training clothes, a water bottle and a towel. If you don't have gloves yet, mention it when you book and we'll sort you out for your first sessions. Arrive a little early so we can get you set up and introduced.
Muay Thai or boxing — which should I pick?+
Try both during your trial week. Boxing is hands, head movement and footwork. Muay Thai adds kicks, knees and elbows. Saturday is a mix of the two. Most people end up enjoying both.
Do you run kids' or beginner-only classes?+
Not yet. Every class is small enough that beginners are looked after inside the regular sessions. More classes will be added as we grow — leave your details and we'll let you know.
Where are you and is there parking?+
We're at Unit 1 / 7 Hoyle Avenue, Castle Hill NSW 2154, inside Shirudo Gym. It's a few minutes from the Castle Hill Metro and Castle Towers, with parking nearby.
