Small-Group Boxing Classes in Castle Hill

Proper boxing — not a boxfit circuit — for complete beginners and people who've dabbled. Small classes mean you learn to stand, move, defend and punch correctly, with a coach on you every round.

Why people start Boxing

Fit, capable and calm. Not a fighter — just someone who could handle it.

You've done 'boxing' at a gym and learnt nothing.

Group-fitness boxing teaches you to swing at a bag. We teach you to box. The fitness comes as a side effect.

You want something with a start time so you actually turn up.

You book in. The coach is expecting you. Your partner needs someone to hold pads. That's accountability that works.

You want to feel safer walking to your car.

Keeping your guard, moving your head and throwing a straight punch under pressure are the most useful self-defence skills there are.

What you'll learn

Real technique, in order, from a coach who's watching every round.

  • Stance, guard, jab, cross, hooks and uppercuts with real technique
  • Defence: slips, rolls, parries and footwork that gets you out of trouble
  • Pad rounds that build timing, coordination and cardio at the same time
  • Confidence that comes from knowing exactly what your hands can do

A typical class

  1. 01Skipping and shadow boxing warm-up
  2. 02Technique block: one skill, drilled until it sticks
  3. 03Partner pads and mitt rounds with coach corrections
  4. 04Heavy bag rounds and a core finisher
  5. 05Cool down and book your next class

No sparring in classes. Small groups, everyone booked in, so the coach plans the session around who's coming.
